NANAIMO—May 10th, 2019 Vancouver Island Market is back just in time for Mother’s Day at former Sears building inside Nanaimo North Town Centre featuring over 100 vendors, local businesses such as Exit Nanaimo, Wild Play Nanaimo, food trucks and more.    10 Free workshops, Guest Speaker in Health and Wellness and live entertainment by Dennis Atkins.

“We have both returned and new vendors on our roster and they are ready to bring a ton of Mother’s Day gift ideas to you at the market,” said Mei Dunlop, Owner at Vancouver Island Moter’s Day Market.

Here’s what you need to know about our May Market:

Many of customers are looking forward to this market because Moms get in for free. You’ll need to go on their website and enter VIMMOM at checkout to receive a complimentary pass. This is a perfect time to bring Mothers into the market to find exactly what she wants while making a difference by supporting local businesses in the greater Vancouver Island area.  Throughout the 2 days at the market, there will be free activities and games constructed by Exit Nanaimo, a draw for passes to WildPlay, and on Friday, there will be a surprise event at 7pm you don’t want to miss! If you’re into health and wellness, special guest speaker Kirstin McKinnon will be on site on Saturday to discuss a topic about dieting that’s informative and transformational.

We’re open from 12-9pm on Friday and 10-6pm on Saturday. We encourage our shoppers to go on our website to see a list of our vendors, and follow our social to receive updates about our event.
